aquanutz
Not to be blunt and rude, but you aren't going to get any where near that asking price. You would honestly be lucky to get half of that. Your best bet is to Ebay it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167005-sold/#findComment-1160400 Share on other sites

PlaySmartPlay
He should be able to pull $1100 or a little more for it on eBay. Just cause he can't get the fair price on here, doesn't mean he can't get it somewhere else. mrfoofy
Thanks for the support. That said, I would rather sell it here than go to ebay; so down to $1,000 including shipping and insurance to the Continental US. applehacker
price could be better, but i would say fair. No 64-bit support is a big no-no now a days, and macs are painful to disassemble. Thats the only reason why the price should drop. Other than that, looks very nice and lots of nice extras! mrfoofy
I thought the core duo's were 64-bit? Actually, i thought that most any chip in the past 5 years was 64-bit... I am open to offers as well--preferably within reason. but the worse that I will say is no :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167005-sold/#findComment-1162439 Share on other sites
applehacker
mobile core duos were *NOT* 64 bit. Thats why they came out with the mobile Core 2 Duo. Then they updated the MBP to become 64 bit. Don't believe me? Wiki it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167005-sold/#findComment-1162443 Share on other sites
mrfoofy
I do believe you over me--I had no idea, I just assumed. Also, I believe you, myself, piles of dead weasels, rocks, 9 out of 10 Helens, and pretty much everything over wikipedia :-) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167005-sold/#findComment-1162445 Share on other sites

applehacker
Yea you are right, they are actually 64 bit I owned this product before. They're just PC low ballers. really? Because I have a yonah core duo laptop, no 64 bit there. also read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Core look in the advantages and shortcomings section. Why do you think intel released an intel Core 2 Duo? It was specifically meant for laptops to add x86-64 to the core duo, they renamed it core 2 duo. read before you act like a prick next time.
