SLV
Hi everyone. Have two problems: (if one is solved, other is not needed). I had 10.5.6 retail. Worked great. After installing 10.5.7 update i lost the ability to restart of shutdown. (Problem 1) (Problem 2) - If I don't install the update, but just replace some folders with from the update /applications, /bin, /sbin, /usr (except x11), system/library/automator, colorpickers, components, menu items, coreservices, /system/library/extensions/NVDA*, Geforce*, applesmbios.kext. Now I get DVDPlayer.app exit with code 1 when give it a folder to play. Nothing helps. What to do? SLV
Well, I decided to install the update fully and just replace kexts from working system. That worked, but I still have this problem. Error is: 16.05.09 19:24:48 DVD Player[485] NSDocumentController Info.plist warning: The values of CFBundleTypeRole entries must be 'Editor', 'Viewer', 'None', or 'Shell'. 16.05.09 19:24:55 [0x0-0x2d02d].com.apple.DVDPlayer[485] error: Error getting a reference to /options. 16.05.09 19:24:55 com.apple.launchd[136] ([0x0-0x2d02d].com.apple.DVDPlayer[485]) Exited with exit code: 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166573-1057-asus-p5q-problems/#findComment-1158384 Share on other sites
