Dracrius
Hi I have a Inspirion 1420 with: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 2GB Ram 160 GB Hard Drive Web Cam Broadcom Ethernet Intel Pro Wireless Nvidea GeForce 8400M GS I have Vista installed on the main partition(approximately 120gb) a partition for OSX (20GB) and a Media Direct Partition. My BIOS is at A10. First try I installed iATKOS v4.1i and it worked fine but after install it wouldn't start OSX plus it used its own boot loader which i didn't want so I deleted the partition and then had to rebuild Vista again. now I wanted to try iPC Universal Final cause I like how it works on my desktop cause I just use Vista boot loader and easybcd. first it doesn't work so I updated the BIOS and tried it with cpus=1 booted whoo who!!! but damn no partition just unallocated space and for whatever reason I can't make a new partition so I reboot and use Vista to create a Partition with the plan of reformatting it with iPC Disk Utility but wtf now it wont boot I get "Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0: Sat Dec 6 19:39:54 IST 2008; Voodoo; Release 1.0 :xnu-1228.7.58/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386" . I try cpus=1 with iPC I just get some other error "IOAPIC: VERSION 0x20 Vectors 0:23" and it doesn't do anything. SO i try iAKTOS oh but now I just get some weird error that just loops forever. What can I do/ what did I do? Can anyone help? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166442-inspiron-1420-not-booting-install-disc/ Share on other sites
