twohundredtwentyfour
Well, I have crossover games. I am trying to install 'The Movies' by lion head games. When I select a new bottle, and make it a winxp type, I get the error message that says, "Exception EAccessViolation in module TheMovies at 00000000 Access violation at address 00000000 in module 'TheMovies.exe' Write of address 00000000" Does anyone know what I can do to get this game to install? Or is it simply never going to work? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166387-error-with-crossover-games/ Share on other sites

c0rk007hck
I mean the RAM, not your diskspace. It can also be diskspace. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166387-error-with-crossover-games/#findComment-1156033 Share on other sites

The game works on my windows computer, which has less RAM then my mac. c0rk007hck
Use menumeters to show how much ram you used. How much ram have you installed? I mean, this uses lots of RAM, you use Mac + Emulator + the game, that's more than Windows + Game. Mac uses more ram than Windows Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166387-error-with-crossover-games/#findComment-1156120 Share on other sites

Medieval 2 total war worked, which requires 512mb on windows, and the movies requires 256mb on windows. What else could it be? Or is it just a case of not being compatible?
