panic when installing MAC OS X

everytime i try to install MAC OS X iDENEB 1.4 10.5.6

 

i get a major error after installing, then it reboots and this error appears.

my PC Specs are,

 

AMD Phenom 9550 Quad Core 2.2GHZ (SSE2, SSE3, SSE4A)

4GB DDR 2 RAM

FOXCONN A7VMX-S/A7VMX-k/A7GMX-S/A7GMX-K

 

please could someone help

 

also any help on which patches ect to choose when installing.

When choosing Customize selection did you select ACPI Fix......if not try it and also choose AppleSMBIOS for Mac Pro......

hi, i am now getting this image when i boot up..

 

i did what was said, installed with ACPI Fix and SMBIOS for MAC PRO

i restarted and boot with -V and it says, "STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE" at the bottom.

What happens when you reboot with -v -f.....?

 

Have you installed the SB700 chipset driver in iDeneb?

hi, i just installed the SB700 chipset driver, and booted up using -v -f

 

it went through the usual screen, and then loaded the DVD back up...

 

when booting with just -v i get the "STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE" error again

Have you/can you set AHCI mode for SATA in your BIOS....?
