Need help with KEXTS versions.

I'm following the procedure in this Forum: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=164264

 

 

I have made it and it works, but the problem I'm having that some of the KEXTS in the EXTRA folder do not install because they are moded retail KEXTS. (AppleHDA is one of them)...

 

 

In the procedure, it states that I have to change the version numbers in them files to be higher so they will get priority during the install...

 

 

 

Can anyone tell me how is it done or possibly mod the version info for me. If you can.

 

 

 

I'm creating this USB stick from a Retail DVD of OS X 10.5.6...

I just want everything to work after install and do not want to worry about installing anything after to get audio or keyboard to work. This is why I'm making this Install USB.

Thank you everyone for your help in my previous post. I have got most of the system operational, except for eSATA, WiFi and the Gateway USB Webcam. But it's coming together.
