Severnya
Hi All, I dont yet own an intel Mac - so I cant do this to find out. When installing XP under normal conditions, one must press F6 to select SATA drivers from a floppy disk. Now, a floppy disk drive doesnt exist on a Mac, so how is this acheived. Any insight would be great, im just curious. Rich Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16551-bootcamp-sata-drivers/ Share on other sites

Jason_25
Actually with windows, at least the 64 bit version, you don't need to load any sata drivers. I don't even have a floppy and it worked no problem. Severnya
I see. Only because my VIA SATA drivers need to be loaded into the Windows setup for it to see the drives attached. Nice to see Steve picked HW that is Windows compliant....
