ntsmkfob
Has anyone tried to fit the inner part (the perforated front and back, top and bottom) from a Mac Pro into a G5 outer case (the handles and sides)? There are some damaged Mac Pro cases about and I think the Mac Pro case gives you more flexibility when building a hack. Thath0r
Uhmm, I think the Mac Pro is taller than the G5, so the Sides would be to small. Baudouin
Do not forget that the upper parts have different dimensions. The mac Pro one is higher. The closing system doors are slightly different too. The Mac Pro has four closing slots and the G5 has three. Edit the 1st may 2009 : The different closing systems and the different positions of the upper parts means also that the back latch are not at the same level on the back side of the inner case. So the latch of the inner G5 will be too high compare to the closing system of the Mac Pro case.
