hi my system freezes while starting. in verbosmode it stops while loading ethernetclient.

my sys: c2d e6750

gigabyte ga-p35c-ds3r

xfx 8800 gts (oc)

2 gb corsair xms 2

Updates from 10.5.2 to 10.5.4 were all successful.

For update 10.5.5 i did this:

Files Required: 10.5.5 update from apple.com (not combo)

1. Before launching update, go into terminal (utilities -> terminal)

2. Type in "sudo –s"

3. Next "while sleep 1; do rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext; done"

4. Launch update, as usual update but don't restart

5. When done go back to terminal, press "ctrl +c" to end script

6. Than safely restart and boot with "update"

Can someone help?

Another problem is that, when i´m using kalyway 10.5.2 i get a black screen (i think it is because of my overclocked graphiccard). I tried to fix this with:

boot: -s

mount -uw

mv /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext.bak

mv /System/Library/Extensions/NVDANV50Hal.kext /System/Library/Extensions/NVDANV50Hal.kext.bak

mv /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext /System/Library/Extensions/NVinject.kext.bak

sudo reboot

/

Fixing ends in a booterror :)
