zafarale
Hi guys, I installed 10.5.6 2 days ago, it was great except wifi, British keyboard and Trackpad, and USB issues. I come across this Vodoo PS2Controller and installed it, at reboot it just dont like it saying press Shutdown key. This was on following web site prefix it with http:// chameleon.osx86.hu/articles/voodoo-team-proudly-presents-voodoops2controller Can anyone suggest how to save it by uninstalling this controller, i am quiet new to OsX, can anyone suggest me something. I installed via Idenenb V1.4 without selecting any kernel, supposing vanilla wqhich in turn i suppose is the original from Apple. and this controller is for Vodoo, I guess its totally my mistake. derekreid
Boot with the -s flag. Delete the VoodooPS2Controller.kext from /System/Library/Extensions with these commands: /sbin/mount -uw / rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooPS2Controller.kext Hopefully that will get rid of the kernel panic. EDIT: The fact it's made by the Voodoo team doesn't mean it's only for the Voodoo kernel. It's supposed to work with Vanilla, but your problem is that you probably have some conflicting extensions.
