That is the same error I'm getting with my Core i7 setup, I can't seem to find a way around it. If I come across anything I will be sure yo let you know.

Update:

I googled the error and I found this:

This is a well know error!!!

Try searching Google for :" Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster insanelymac"

It is a ACPIPlatform.kext error you have to replace it with a compatible one, or would you like one of us to come over and do it for you!?

This seemed to work for the person he replied too so after I find one compatible with my setup I will be trying this. Best of luck to ya.

Have a nice day...

Hi Alex,

in IPC_10.5.6_Final - Install I've selected under 'Fixes' -> 'ACPIFix' to prevend against IOBuffers and Headers boot fail!

That worked for me on the Asus eeeTop ET1602 with your described problem on the first try of install!

regards bitstra
