bcrrizo Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 I installed OS X on my Dell 530s using iPC's Universal 10.5.6 installation. Everything is working fine except shutdown and restart. I forgot if I even installed the patch for the shutdown/restart fix. How do I install this patch without having to do the entire installation over again? Thanks in advance. My system restarts when I try to shutdown, but at least it's restarting properly now! Install openhaltrestart.kext from Psystar using kexthelper. neteng101 Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Go into your BIOS, Remote Wake on LAN in Power Management should be set to off. Then it will shutdown too. But I'm guessing sleep still doesn't work?
