RetepNamenots
Hi all, I'm trying to install iDeneb v4 on my PC, up from Kalyway 10.5.2 which I worked well. I'm not looking to save settings etc. or perform an upgrade, but a clean install. Checksums on the .iso were fine, and the disk was verified. Upon installation, disk checking completes successfully. However, after the install reaches 100%, the screen just turns black. Upon restarting the Windows 7 repair boot appears, nothing to do with OS X is seen. I don't (and can't) access my Windows 7 install - it just blue screens since the failed install, but I don't need to access it anyway. :angry2: Selected packages: AdditionalFonts X11 ICHx Fixed Skge Marvell RTL8187L appleSMBIOS 800 NVinject 0.2.1 1GB Pacifist I'm trying to install on a fresh partition, which is Mac OS Extended (Journaled). The installation log tells me at the start of the installation: localhost /Volumes/Macintosh/private/tmp/scripts.hMv0/./postinstall[236]: umount: /Volumes/Macintosh/dev: not currently mounted I don't know why it's trying to (unmount?) the drive at the start of the installation, but anyway, the HDD LED and DVD LED both flash... Any help would be appreciated! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155271-ideneb-v4-1056-installation-problem/ Share on other sites
RetepNamenots
Sorry, I fixed this by getting rid of all my partitions. Unfortunately it meant that I lost all of my music, but hey!
