jciarlan
so, I'm getting one of those oh-so-famous kernel_task problems where it eats up 50% of the processor. system.log shows this: Feb 22 20:42:04 OSXSERV kernel[0]: AppleATADiskQueueManager::setPowerState(0x3ab1c00, 2 -> 1) timed out after 100111 ms I've already shut off "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" and it didn't seem to help. I have 4 hard drives in the thing, 2 sata and 2 ide. The sata controller is jmicron but I don't have jmicron.kext installed (it worked fine without it), can someone post a copy of jmicron.kext? any ideas are much appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/154498-another-kernel_task-problem/ Share on other sites
