nosoapradio
Hello, This is my first posts after many weeks of reading. I finally decided to take the plunge and test out the world of OSX86. I had an older system laying around and I thought it would be a perfect guinea pig (if this works then I'll probably buy a new system with the latest and greatest parts). I was able to load iATKOS v5i (10.5.5) without any problems. Everything is working except for my audio. Under the "System Profiler" > Hardware > Audio, it says, "No Built-in Audio". Here are my system specs: MOBO: Abit iC7-MAX3 CPU: PEN 4 (Northwood) 3 GHZ RAM: 3 GB VID: Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT AUDIO: (Built-In) Realtek ALC650 , I also have a Turtle Bay Santa Cruz card and neither works In the EXTENSIONS folder there is a .kext for AppleAC97 which is supposed to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am a total noob who is quite dense, so any detailed instructions would be very helpful. Cheers, NSR Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153705-cant-get-audio-to-work-iatkos-v5i/ Share on other sites
