SemjaZa
Do not know if these files work as I have no AMD cpu, so dont expect a miracle. Files are on the net, if you know where to get them... dmg contains to installers the intel one installs all 9 decrpyted files for you. the amd one installs all 9 decrpyted files for you. now you trully have same exact encrpyted apps as real intel imac I have a homepage... Semjaza v1.1 intel amd.dmg.zip contains untested AMD files. skredii
здравствулте! Here is the description from Semjaza intel package v 1.1 : This installer will update all of the encrypted applications to the 10.4.6 update. The new decrypted applications included are translate translated ATSServer mds loginwindow The old decrypted applications that were not updated in the 10.4.6 update are included and are Dock Finder diskimages-helper SystemUIServer The installer will OVERWRITE all these applications so make sure you have a backup of those files. Thanks for the files, i just updated to version 1.1. What main differences should we notice with the update? Keep up the good work SemJaza! livewireuk
Hi semjaza , great job man keep it up. Just want to let you know of a common amd problem with your patches. Rossetta is seems to be broken , if I force uni bin appz to launch with rosseta they crash on launch. This happens with lots of other users also. just letting you know I dont think i have ttried 1.2 yet if you have just added these. will try ASAP, ii cant use rapidd share it hates my isp. Proteo
I'm ready to be the guinea pig, but I'm afraid I have no idea what do I need to do. I got the 10.4.6 Intel update (160 MB) from Apple's website. What do I do now? Do I apply the Apple's patch, then yours? Please forgive me but I still kind of a newbie in OS X. I wonder if intel have this issue also? jrrjrr
I don't have an AMD cpu, so this might be completely off-base, but I remember that Maxxuss' solutions for 10.4.4 and 10.4.5 on AMD included not only replacing the handful of decrypted files but also editing some CPUID codes in a bunch of other files. Were any of those CPUID ones part of this 10.4.6 update? If so, they might need to be edited in a similar way??? borez
Just a n00b question: I attempted to install the 10.4.6 update (through manual installation). Before I could attempt to install the 10.4.6, the system froze (and the entire's system's hosed now.) EDIT: My bad, I shouldn't have installed the 10.4.6 .pkg update like that. It replaced the kernel file as well. :X Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14901-1046-decrypted-files-for-amd-possibly-working/#findComment-95826 Share on other sites

Konami®
guys I found a way to make PPC applications work under 10.4.6, I did this: replace "CarbonCore.Framework" located in /system/library/frameworks/CoreServices.framework I replaced with the 10.4.5 version and works, I was able to install windows Media Player and Office 2004, now the only we need to find is how to make it work PCMCIA services, any ideas? Maybe it has something to do with having the AMD Enabler in my kernel?
