aasimbeck01
ok, heres my situation. I have a Mac Mini, 1.83 Ghz, intel core 2 duo, with 2 Gigs of ram.. I want to run ATV4Mac (apple tv for mac) Which requires me to downgrade to Tiger, well i don't exactly want to dowgrade the entire machine, so i partitioned the drive into 2 slices, one for leopard, which im currently running, and one for the tiger installation.. I have the Tiger for into ISO on my MacBook pro, but i dont have any spare blank DVD's laying around. Is there any way i can "mount" this iso on a External hard drive, and a iPod in disk mode? Then hold in the option key during startup, and go from there? Also, i was wondering if it was possible to use remote install OS X on computers other than the MacBook Air? Thanks Guys. SHADO5
There is a method for installing OS X from an external HD here.
