After a year or so out of the osx86 scene I'm back again with Intel hardware this time, w00t.

Anyway I'm using iPC with PPF5 and I've mostly got everything working thatnks to having a pretty compatible system for a vanilla install. There are a few things bugging me though:

1. Some drives not being detected in Disk Utility after install even though they are detected fine when installing. All drives are SATA except my 80GB PATA which I install OSX to and that works fine. I'm using the Intel ICH10/9 kexts off the DVD.

2. When booting in verbose I get these errors and would like to know how to fix or if it's safe to ignore:

a: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagament) timed out

b: kextd[10]: IOKitWaitQuiet() timed out waiting to write kernel symbols

Here's a screenshot attached which may help - http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/186/errorshr1.jpg

Now on my other install which consists of:

GA-P35-DS3

E2160

8400GS

2GB DDR

1x SATA HDD

1x PATA DVD

iPC works really well, better than on my P5K system, except for one error on startup from DVD which I think is affecting my ability to sleep the system.

- USBF: 0.953 AppleUSBOHCI[0x3866000]::CheckSleepCapabilty - controller will be unloaded across sleep
