I have a 9800 gtx from bfg and i have the same problem! I have spent days fighting with QE with no luck ( other than becoming really good at reinstalling ! )

Please post if you find a solution.

Hi! Here is mine own made efi string for geforce 9800 gt 512mb. Try this if you have 512mb memory. Put this in to /library/preferences/systemconfiguration/apple.com.Boot.plist. Download this and install it.

We have MAC Pro with a G-Force 8800 installed for two monitors. We need to install 9800-GT which we found out it's Windows Vista approved. Can we plug it and install the driver you just posted.. and what about the power cable. do we need a new one?

Dunno. Nowdays i use graphics enabler what comes with chameleon and this method works in snowleo.

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>

<string>Yes</string>

Use that in com.apple.Boot.plist in /Extra folder. Let me know if my old efistring works with snowleo.
