Timmytim
Hello all, I am running iDeneb 10.5.4 on a HP DC7600. Everything installed out of the box except for LAN (Broadcom NetExtreme) and Audio (Broadcom HD audio). I then tried to install several NIC's, and its like the Leopard doesn't recognize anything that I plug into the PCI slots. NIC's tried so far: 3COM 905 - failed Intel Pro 100S - failed D-Link DFE-530+ - failed (also tried MAC driver for DLINK.com) SMC 1211 - failed (tried w/ RTL8139 kext) I have loaded the intel pro 100ve kext manually, and the others I used kexthelper. I am not getting any kernel errors. Does anyone have any idea where to start with this one? These NIC's are all working. PC setup: HP DC7600 Convertible Tower OEM motherboard w/ ICHx chipset 3.0GHz Pentium 4 CPU 2GB DDR2 RAM 500GB SATA Seagate
