r_geoff Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I've successfully installed 10.5.5 yesturday. Network connection was working fine after install. I updated to 10.5.6 today and now under network options it states that my ethernet is unplugged. I reinstall my Realtek drives but still no luck. any ideas? After install and reboot they aren't showing up. Please help me. Thanks Same problem with mine. replaced a lot of kexts but after the 2nd boot the ethernet is again gone. deleted AppleHPET.kext and now ethernet is again recognized. just dont know if this is the real fix.
