titans1127 Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Hey everyone, just found out about this site a few days ago and figure its a great place for help. I am trying to install Leopard 10.5.2(might be 10.5.1 can't remember after burning 7 different disks) on my HP Pavilion dv6436nr. Its only 1.5 years old so I figure it should have no problems. For some reason it wont boot the disc past a certain point before going back to the menu that asks to press any key to boot from disk or press F8. All I have done is burn the iso image and try to boot the disk. I fI am supposed to do it differently please let me know. I tried the disk on my AMD desktop that I believe has lesser specs and got to the point where i could actually go on with the installation. I will attach a picture of the point where I get stuck and i wind up back where I started. I will also post a pic with specs of my laptop. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks, Andrew. I hope this works since it seems like it should. The image was labeled AMD and it worked on my AMD desktop though I didn't try to install it.
