Alecoooo
I have an HP DV1000, when I boot the 10.5.6 iPC OS X distro, it gives me a blank blue screen. Is there some way to fix this, I've seen those topics where it has the ppf file(which I dont know what it is), and a Extension.kext. I don't know how to burn the ISO when I extract it and patch. Can someone post a quick step guide? Thanks, Alec Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148070-blue-screen-on-boot/ Share on other sites

insomnimac
Have you patched the original iso with the other PPFs? I'd try upto PPF2 and make sure you leave a copy of the original iso untouched somewhere. If PPF2 doesn't work try 3,4,5 etc. I have burnt 5 DVDs from trying all the PPFs and PPF2 seemed fine for me, PPF5 is just added some compatability and stuff so I';d try PPF2 first. Just download PPf-o-matic v3 for windows and patch it using that. The boot off the DVD and boot with F8 and then type "vanilla -v" and see how you go. If you get a kernel panic then just try -v. If you still get a blue screen then I dunno. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148070-blue-screen-on-boot/#findComment-1051374 Share on other sites
