I have a similar setup (G31M-ES2L), your onboard video wont work with anything.. sorry, get a PCIE video card and check this out: http://www.cpubbq.com/2008/01/osx86-on-ga-...structions.html

I tried ideneb and leo4all, I didnt have much luck with ideneb but leo4all loaded up..

I am currently running from a retail install, used another mac to install 10.5 to disk, then 10.5.6 combo to the disk... I could then boot using the grub-efi boot cd on the G31M and then loaded up an EFI bootloader. Everything works fine, except audio.. It should work but I got some USB Speakers so I havent put any effort into trying to figure it out.

hey, did you need any special kexts to get the system working or is it all vanilla?

I am using the generic boot 132 iso kexts and was wondering if theres anymore that should be in there.

Thanks.

You can get the onboard sound working with this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133460

the only slight fly in the ointment is you can't mute, just pull the slider down to silent.
