ghall
I'm trying to install Leopard onto my custom built PC. I've tried the boot 132 method, as well as the patched install disk, neither method has been successful. The boot 132 wouldn't boot the leopard disk and the patched DVD kernel panics either on the gray apple screen or the "preparing leopard install" screen. My specs: Intel 2.66 Core 2 Quad CPU Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 1GB 8GB DDR2 RAM The motherboard is an nForce 750i by EVGA I've followed the instructions to the letter, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147306-leopard-on-a-custom-built-pc/ Share on other sites
retromacg3
Not sure if this will help, but it's what I would try. Another video card (I had trouble with the 9500gt), and 4gb or even 2gb of ram for initial install. This advice is not based on research on this board, just my experiences, so it could be pointless.
