Hi,

My first post here, so hopefully I've not missed the answers looking through the extensive forum.

I've successfully installed OSX 10.5.5 on my Acer Aspire One netbook, following the tutorials on this forum (Kalyway version). My Aspire is the 160GB version, and has upgraded RAM to 1.5GB & I've replaced the Atheros wifi card with a Broadcom one. OSX is running very well, including wireless, however I do have a few queries that I'd appreciate help with:

- Can I install other Apple software on the Aspire such as iPhoto, or will this cause problems with the OS ?

- Can I use the software update feature in Leopard ?

- Is there a tried & tested way to upgrade the OS to 10.5.6 using the update on Apple's website ?

- Is there a fix yet that allows the Aspire One card readers to be recognised by OSX ?

- I'm still having problems with my USB ports in that if I boot with something already inserted, it works fine & can be removed ok. However once the OS is up & running it won't recognise anything inserted into a ISB port.

I think that's it - thanks for reading ;)

Cheers,

Andy
