pablitopablito
The other day I installed ToH_x86_9A581_RC2 (on my P4, asrock p4vm800, 30gb IDE HD), it took six hours and installation was succesfull, when i restarted my pc i couldn´t boot, i format again and started the installation with minimal features, i got tired and restarted the machine in half way the installation. Today i put the ToH_x86_9A581_RC2 disc in the dvd and set the bios to boot 1st from my DVD drive and 2nd from the 30gb ide HD, i didn´t press F8, and leopard OS appeared on my screen! i guess that somehow the sistem is still installed and the other day didn´t boot because i didn´t have the disc in the drive (i thought that it wasn´t necessary). Well, now that i have my leopard working i have a few doubts. •when the OS finally loads in the place where i should find the safari and ichat icons y onsly see two "?" it´s like these aren´t istalled ¿what could this be? •i have a second HD with XP installed, from leopard i can see its content, i can open .jpg and .pdf files but i cant open .mp3 or any other multimedia file ¿why is that? i cant play audio cds either (by the way, the sound works ok) •When i go to settings and try to set my internet dsl via ethernet the OS doesn´t recognize it, i guess it doesn´t recognize the onboard ethernet conection. ¿is there a way to solve this? •When i press the 1st icon (i think its called finder) i dont get any response, ¿is it normal? Well, i´ll find hundreds of new problems but i´d like to solve these first, thank you in advance. inimicus
9a581? Current is 9g55, buddy (at least on my iMac). You've got yourself an OLD build of Leopard. Try something newer. Like iPC or XxX that are both 10.5.6. The other will work... but 10.5 is a long way from where we're at now. Additionally, RTFF. All the issues you are having thus far are discussed in-depth. You can find them, don't be lazy. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147203-this-is-weird/#findComment-1042961 Share on other sites
