Jonickness
Last night I created a partition using Boot Camp. I turned my computer on this morning and I get a flashing folder with a question mark in it. So I followed some instructions I found online. I inserted my Leopard DVD, started up, and went to Disk Utility. It does not show anything that I can repair. So I went ahead and tried to re-install Leopard. I get to the screen where it says "Select a Destination." However, the box is empty. I read to just wait and the MacHD drive will show up but I have waited for a while and still nothing is coming up. Did I loose everything? If I did, I need to know why it does not show anything in the "Select a Destination" box. I just would like to re install Leopard. aduffbrew
You don"t hear a clicking grating sound, by chance? I had my Macbook HDD fail under similar circumstances. It was the first such failure I have personally experienced in all my years of computing.... and I started out on a Xerox 820!
