quiksr20 Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Hello All, I have a great condition Powermac G3, It has just been reformatted fresh and loaded with the following software : ( loaded but cds not included ) Will come with 10.3 disks. For 350MHZ this thing runs great, Similar to my Pentium III 900MHZ Software Installed: OSX 10.3.9 ( fully updated ) Microsoft Office 2004 Adobe Photoshop CS Specs: 350MHZ PowerPC G3 ( 2.2 - Bootrom 1.1F4 ) 512MB Ram ( 128x4 ) ( can handle 1GB ) 80GB Maxtor HD Zip Drive ( not tested I have no disks appears in OS ok ) Rage 128 PCI 16MB Video CD / DVD Rom Adaptec AHA-2930CU SCSI Card 10/100 Ethernet Firewire 400 ( x2 ) USB ( x2 ) Overall the computer is in great shape, Almost not scratches at all just the normal wear and tear for an 8 year old computer. It is however just missing the trim ring from the Zip drive. This computer boots pretty fast and runs great for Web Surfing , Email, Photoshop , MS Office etc. Video card will do 1280x1024 32bit no problem, Maybe other resolutions as well but Ive only used it with my Dell 17' LCD Asking $100 Shipped ( costs about $25 to ship ) If you have any questions please feel free to ask. See sysreqs for iLife '08 below.. overall not well, also remember this only is running 10.3.9, you need at least 10.4.9, that's not gonna work well on a PowerMac G3.. they can barely do Tiger well, let alone Tiger *AND* Garageband... iLife '08 System Requirements * Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 processor. * iMovie requires a Mac with an Intel processor, a Power Mac G5 (dual 2.0GHz or faster), or an iMac G5 (1.9GHz or faster). * iDVD requires a 733MHz or faster processor. * 512MB of RAM; 1GB recommended.
