fourthletter
I just installed iDeneb v1 Leopard 10.5.4 on my system. Intel Pentium DC e2160 Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR800 XFX Nvidia 7900GS 256MB X16 2X Samsung 250GB All went well but after installation, i installed all the kernels and a few fixes for my ide DVD-RW, I did not install NVinject during the install but once booted i installed the latest NVinject with kexthelper b7, according to OSX86Tools Quartz GL is working and although i have a huge range of resolutions I cannot get my monitors which is 1440x900. I have it running at 1280x768 but the closest res to mine is 1440x1050 which is obviously out of range. I assume the graphics driver is working but how do i get my exact res ? I have tried editing the bootlist with the added strings but nothing happens and if i type "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32" at boot I get an error "Mac os is taking to long to start" and it finally boots at 800x600. Device id is 0x00a110de Many thanks for any help anyone can give Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146855-resolution-problem-although-qe-etc-is-working/ Share on other sites
fourthletter
Just incase this helps anyone else. Fixed it using SwitchResX. Made sure Quartz E etc was working then installed the full version of SwitchResX, looked up the manual of my Belina TFT monitor and got the correct timings to create a custom resolution in SwitchResX, rebooted and my Hackintosh know works perfectly.
