Kabooka
So far my experience with hackintosh has been excellent & im truly enjoying this new OS. i wish to get a comfortable mouse ( preferably from Logitech ) that has multiple buttons which would allow me to map various OSX functions to the auxilary buttons & works in windows as well. Is there a mouse like MX518 or something similar that works fully with OSX ? Kindly help me out on this one guys. Michael-on-a-mac
the MS IntelliMouse line seams to work well for me, all 5 buttons are working and map-able. (just make sure to install the driver from the apple website.) Synaesthesia
Pretty much any usb mouse works, even without drivers. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/146834-looking-for-a-fully-compatible-multimedia-mouse/#findComment-1040819 Share on other sites

Zaap
Definitely my recommendation is Microsoft. I'm sure it may depend on the actual mouse model, but the IntelliPoint software for OSX actually works very well (my Laser Mouse 7000 is great) and allows a lot of options for application-specific button assignment. Logitech on the other hand has sucky Mac software, at least in my experience. The last time I used their 'Control Center' {censored}, I was amazed at how non-customizable and klunky it was, like Mac support is just an afterthought.
