I have a Dell Inspiron E1705 with the 7950 GTX from the XPS M1710 Laptop. Have tried injectors / GFX Strings in com.apple.Boot.plist with no effect. Anyone have any experience getting this card working in 10.5.6? lspci detects the card as:

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation GeForce Go 7950 GTX [10de:0297] (rev a1)

Native resolution is detected (1920 x 1200), but CI / QE are not. Using Retail OS X per this guide.

Bump for more info. The guide I used installed nvkush (but not to /System/Library/Extensions; it installed it to /Extra/Extensions instead. Now defaults to 1024x768, but at least graphics strings are recognized now. Tried a couple different ones with no results. Any help would be appreciated!

I spent some more time working on this, with varying results. I wasn't sure if my NVCAP was causing me problems with the GFX string I entered, so I started working on the NVCAP. I used nvflash to save the rom (attached) so I could get an NVCAP from that. I used NVCAP Maker 1.4 to get an NVCAP from the rom file, and I entered the NVCAP it gave me (0400000000001900020000000000000700000000) into OSX86 Tools 1.0.150 with 512 MB Ram Selected and I got nothing on the internal display or the DVI out, but my monitor displayed on the VGA out. Still no CI / QE, however.
