pun1ca
Hi, I tryied to install MacOSX 10.4.5 on my Laptop (Click here). First I made an new Partition with 'diskpart' and reboot to start fro mthe cd. Short after the white screen with the apple logo appeared i got the message that I should reboot my pc. After I rebootet my PC the same message appears :-/ What to do ? I startet the install with the '-v' parameter and found some entries like: Extension "com.apple.driver.AppleACPOThermal" has no kernel dependency[...] IOPCard Bridges::start failed [...] panic(cpu 0 caller 0x00193422):FPU segment overrun exception in kernel thread context kernel loadable modules in backtrace (with dependencies) com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller(1.1.0) That not all, but I think thats the most important ? Maybe someone can help. My CPU supports PAE and SSE2 ! Mebster
I had an error in the middle of my installation and it told me to reboot and try running the installation again. But each time I did the same error occurred. I found out it was something to do with my DVD drive and so I changed it to another one and the installation ran without a problem. Maybe you can change it with another one if you have a spare. Have also heard updating your firmware also helps. Have not tested this.
