megavolkan
Edit: I've solved the case. If that happens to you (god knows why it does) just get info of the disk and remove the tick of "Ignore the ownership..." chose at the bottom. Hi, i'm trying to install LS8v14 post install on my newly instaled leo on GA EP45 DQ6 board. At the end of the process it normally fixes permissions but this time it didn't. Instead it gives the error "Permissions are not enabled on the disk (-9973)" I've tried it as normal user and root (sudo -s). I cannot fix permissions by disk utility, repair/verify buttons are grayed out. Any ideas?
flace
I had this problem because I was using an external HD. I think the volume database wasn't up to date. What solved my problem was running vsdbutil -i on Terminal. I know the topic says SOLVED, but no solution was posted here, so... thought It could help others like us.
