Ckivi
I recently tried to install iatkos v5i on my hp pavilion dv7 and had no luck, I installed it with the default installion settings and then tryed to change the settings up but it still failed. Leopard installed successfully, but then as it rebooted it froze on the grey screen with a small failed icon in the middle. I then proceeded to boot the built-in HP recovery drive and did the steps to get back into vista to delete the partition I made for leopard. Here is where I think I made the mistake, because earlier it was making me choose what partition i wanted at startup, disk0s1 (vista), HP_RECOVERY, or iAtkos...so clearly it was still using the darwin bootloader, so im guessing i messed up the bootloader when i deleted the partition leopard was on because now when i start up it said boot0: error..until i put the leopard disk image back in and got back into the leopard installation screen and opened the terminal and flagged partition 1 (vista) as active, after doing that and restarting, i bootup with the winload.exe error "0xc000000e" my problem now is...i dont have an vista recovery disk so are there any ways around this maybe using the terminal or something? Also, i got that grey screen with the fail icon after a "successful" installation, any suggestions?
