How 2 install on custom made desktop PC's? What errors can one possibly face?

Well, to me, i've not yet succeeded to install Leopard on my pc.

 

First i got an error "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.Slist' not found"

I had two dvd roms, bottin from master solved problem.

 

But next problem is the most people have.

The most popular grey screen freeze in gui mode or "Still waiting for root device" horrible error.

 

It says this is due to uncompatible hard drives.

Where is the solution?

 

I'm still looking for it.

 

If you have a solution, please post it here, so that all can have som solution.
