N8D0G
Sorry to bother you all. I'm attempting to install iDeneb's v1.3 10.5.5 on an IBM Thinkpad T30, because it seems to be the only system that allowed me to do the install, lol. It looked like it installed correctly but when it reboots, it gets to the grey screen and then reboots. Then does it over and over? I assume, based on what I've read I need to install a patch or something but I'm so new to this I only know Apple got rid of the Open Apple Closed Apple. Has anyone had any success installing OSX on a T30? I can only assume it is a hardware conflict or something like that. I tried -v start up but it gets to the grey screen and boom. Thanks for your time, -N8D0G Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/143104-post-install-issue-on-thinkpad-t30/ Share on other sites
N8D0G
Ok, Found the problem! I just realized that the Kernal Patches actually set up the Kernal that you need to run to make it work. So I selected the SSE2 / SSE3 kernal and I get to a Gray apple screen that sits there. Is there something I should check for? Maybe I installed it funny. I'll try Down loading an oder version. Maybe there is something wrong with the disk.
