michelsondl
I just installed 10.5.5 using iDeneb, and my other hard drive which has my music and other stuff on it to read. I know the P5Q-Pro has the Marvell 88SE6111 sata controller, and tried to search for a solution, but found nothing. Is OS X just not able to see me other HDD, or is this fixable? michelsondl
Both are sata drives. The first hard drive is seen by OS X, that's the one that I installed it on, but the other drive isn't. The second drive is formatted as ntfs, but i didn't think tat should have any effect on anything, since OS X sees my windows partitions on the first drive. If you don't see it in disk utility try this modified kext: IOATAFamily.kext.zip Backup an move to trash the old one in /System/Library/Extensions and install that you have download with Kexthelper. Good Luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141806-p5q-pro-cant-get-2nd-hard-drive-to-read/#findComment-1007093 Share on other sites
