InorganicMatter
Finally, I beat A17 to a SUSE announcement. Supposedly the KDE version includes many backported UI fixes from KDE 4.2. In particular, file-dumping-ground mode for your desktop is included. Get you some here: http://software.opensuse.org/
Alessandro17
Finally, I beat A17 to a SUSE announcement. Maybe that is because I have to wait until tomorrow before I can download it (At least I hope nothing goes wrong with my reconnection to ADSL, I have been on dial-up since September 17). johnniecarcinogen
... I have been on dial-up since September 17). My condolences. Another thing about this release is that it "supports macs"... idk if that's with bootcamp or straight from the disc and installs grub as the bootloader (unlike ubuntu, opensuse has been using grub 2 for a while which supports efi and xfs). Alessandro17
dial up = lolattack You wouldn't find it so funny if you had been trying to get back an ADSL connection since September 17 without success.
m16
You should move to USA. Much better technology here.
Alessandro17
You should move to USA. Much better technology here. Almost everywhere in the Western World is better than Italy (if I remember correctly Amsterdam is going to have 100Mbps). But the problem isn't that much technology, which isn't too bad in Italy. It is bureaucracy, Politics, dishonesty and incompetence, an explosive mixture.
