blasteryui
Okay so basically I got iatkos 5 on my computer and after my computer hasn't been touched for a while it goes to a black screen, like a screen saver. On Windows or anything else you just move the mouse and os x or windows comes back, well when I move the mouse the screen remains black. I look at the power button and its flashing green so its still on but on like a stand by mode. I hit the power button then it goes to solid green and I can hear the computer making its regular noises. But still black screen. I have to turn off the computer and turn it back on in order for os x to show again. How do I fix this problem, or at least stop the screen from going black and so that the screen is always running. UnaClocker
Go into System Pref's, under Power, disable sleep. If it's a laptop, you have to do it for both AC and battery power settings. Sleep hardly ever works right on a Hackintosh. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141591-black-screen/#findComment-1003841 Share on other sites

I have the same problem and it appears without the screensaver being enabled. iPC 10.5.6 vanilla with nvidia go graphics.
