Oh my, I was using my MAC OS X, and my friend asked me If I would like to listern the DcTalks :D, I got the CD and put in MAC OS X. Then, It was mounted, so I get my phone and plugged in note, for my surprise It was making sound... :o but it's really really strange, just works in a "mic" port hmmm...

I am about to run out for the evening... But look in the hardware forum. There are a ton of posts on your audio problem... Try the keyword midi in your search too, there is some midi control panel that helps things for some people.

Hmm, yes I already tried to configure this in a Midi control =/

If you get the sound icon and can change the volume then try plugging your headphones or speakers into the front jack to see if it produces sound. If so then you can just move your speaker plugs over in the back and it'll work fine~

Yes, is produces sound in a "MIC" jack :( ... (notebook) I couldn't change it =(

Do you have MaxxussSSE3to2 installed?  I have a Gateway 450XL laptop and had all sorts of problems with v.02 of Maxxuss.  When I installed v.04 (the current) then the sound worked great.

Yes, I'm using the v.04 version too.

See that line you put in, noticed the vendor 8086, thats INTEL, so why are you messing with the nvidia ac97 driver? You must have an intel based chipset notebook, it shouldn't be nvidia with that vendor id.

my two cents....
