Frogburn959
So I've been experimenting with the hackintosh for 3 months now, and I've learned alot and realize I have a lot more to learn, people who own a MAC have an upper hand but since they own macs I don't think much of them are interested in a hackintosh, of course i could be wrong, but then there those among us who are geniuses at unix/linux or other command line interfaces and can iterprete the code of what files and kexts need to be fixed or repaired. So my question is this, What books are out there for Novice, advanced or extreme hackintosh users to reference. I have what may seem simple an audio problem with my Hackintosh, I've installed Leo4all V3 and I get no audio, Kalyway 10.5.2 and I get audio, i wanted to just drag out the Pkg file from the Kalyway disc and install it to my Leo4all install but its not that simple I'm more interested infiguring it out on my own but I have little to no Exerience with unix or mac OS 10.5 Leopard what books are recommended as must haves for Hackintosh users???? adamsweeting
You've got the best research tool right at your fingertips already.... The Internet. Also OS X / UNIX has good help files built in. They are called man pages. Open a terminal - and then man *whatever command you want to know more about* Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141121-noob-pointers/#findComment-999689 Share on other sites
