alduleimi Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Hi All, I deleted all file in system>Library>keyboard Layout as non of them are english keyboard (as i thought they r some extra files i don't need) when i started today the system doesn't recognize my keyboard i mean i can't type anything !!! when try to do repair i select United Kingdome as country then at the keyboard selection i can't see the English keyboard only chiness and some other asian keyboard so i think i might deleted some hidden files which contain the English keyboard My question is using terminal program commands can i browse to the trash folder and restore the keyboard files to the original folder ? thanks in advance alduleimi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14055-restore-files-from-trash/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
bofors Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 I am sure you can browse the Trash directory in the Terminal, but the Trash is "emptied" there is no simple way to get deleted files back.
