first I've tried to follow this guide to boot with a vanilla retail Leopard image:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=118663

I got to "BSD Root : disk1s3" something something, and then "syncing disks. killing all processes. continue. done. MACH reboot", and it restarts there.

then I tried the original boot-132 from here :

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=113288

I got constant "still waiting for root device..." messages and stalls there.

after that I downloaded a iDeneb 10.5.5 v1.3 iso, and tried to install it with various VMware configurations, including Donk's template vmx, and vmx shown here :

none worked, it can get past the BSD Root : disk1s3" part, but stops at "CODE SIGNING cs_invalide_page p=14(configd)" or it can get past it can goes to a "iDeneb" screen with a rainbow wheel spinning indefinitely.

So anyone can help, or am I just trying the impossible? My notebook is a Thinkpad T43 with Pentium M 1.8G, 1G RAM, X300 video card. Thanks.
