Hello OSX86ers,

I've got a problem. After long hours of research, I've finally gotten so far that the installation from the iDeneb DVD starts. Really exited I follow some tutorial to the Disk Utility, and heres where the problems begin. My SATA harddrive doesn't appear at all! I've already used the search, but I haven't found any advice (maybe I'm just using the wrong keywords)

Anyone got any idea?

My specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

ASUS EAH3850X2

ASUS P5Q (JMicron!)

External DVD Drive

WesternDigital WD6400AAKS (SATA!)

Greetings,

I have had a lot of success using the IPC 10.5.6 release and then updating to 10.5.8 (pretty easy once you have flashed your bios with a modified bios). Installing without choosing any drivers works just f

I'm at work now but I'll post the drivers i used if it will help.

I used to have a HD3650 512mb and that worked perfectly, unfortunately that has been replaced with an EAH3850x2 which i am having trouble getting to work.

If you do have any luck with the graphics card, please drop me a pm and vice versa. I suppose we are the only people with that gfx card (0x95131002). I have been looking for drivers for it for a while.

Try the IPC distro, it should work like a charm!
