Adrst
Hi, I need help on installing Mac OS X on my Acer Extensa 4420 AMD processor (Athlon 64 X2) I have applied the iDeneb patch, when I run the disk, everything seems fine until I get to the Apple screen, the loading circle comes up but doesn't move, then this circle with a diagonal slash comes up. So I did a diagnostics and there were all these errors. May I have some help? xx66stangxx
You are getting a "waiting for root device" error. First of all. If you have a p-ata dvd/cd drive and a p-ata HDD together then make sure that your dvd drive is the slave. If that isn't your case and you are using a s-ata dvd drive with p-ata or s-ata HDD make sure that you apply the correct chipset driver for your mobo. The chipset drivers are available at the "customize" screen at setup on the dvd.
