Jim-Panse
I hope I hit the right board . I have downloaded and installed Kalyway Mac OS X 10.5.2 and have the following problems: Only mouse and keyboard are recognized by Mac OS X, other USB devices like USB sticks, cameras or even iPods get recognized, but aren't displayed on the desktop or Finder If I try to open About this Mac, the systems fades out into a bluescreen and again fades in into the normal interface, it's like being logged off and again logged in by hitting About this Mac I liked to update to 10.5.5, but every time I try the combo update from the Apple website and try to delete this AppleIntelPowerManagement.kext, I don't find it and the system wants me to reboot and I get a startup error. Is there a really well guide in order to fully upgrade from 10.5.2 to 10.5.5 without having really nerving issues? Have I to go back to 10.5.1 or 10.5 in order to update my system? My system specs: Intel Pentium IV HT 2,80 GHz SSE3 (used the standard 9.2.0 sleep kernel) MSI 865PE-Neo2 PFS 2048 MB DDR-333 RAM (Dual Channel) Gainward GeForce 7600 GT 256 MB GDDR3-RAM (AGP) I hope someone can help me. If the answers are already answered, please get me a link to the posts, I've looked through every piece of Google and found nothing helpfully.
