Hi, I'm trying to install Mac OS X 10.4.8 JaS on VMware to boot later natively.

I installed it some months ago and It worked perfectly, with the same version of VMware as I had before (6.0.2). I had to format my PC and installed VMware again, same version.

Now when booting the DVD the first time on the Virtual Machine, I got the DMA warning, clicked "Never show this message again", and reset the virtual machine and boot again. Now, it gets stuck here, saying "Still waiting for root device" over and over again, so I cannot install it:

In the logs I still can see the DMA warning:

Nov 22 11:33:12.711: vcpu-0| Your virtual machine has sent an ATAPI (CD-ROM) command that is supported only when programming the drive via DMA. You will need to configure your guest operating system to use DMA when communicating with DVD/CD-ROM devices.
Nov 22 11:33:12.711: vcpu-0| Note that some operating systems will report DMA is available without actually using it. In those cases, normal CD-ROM operations will still be available, but special features will only be available if you reconfigure the virtual device as a SCSI device.

Note: I cannot install it natively because my HD is SATA and the OSx installation won't recognize my HD.

The first time I installed it on VMware, was with the same DVD, I've 10.4.4 and 10.4.8 DVD's, and they boot fine natively, in VMware I just get these warnings and cannot get into the installation.

Any help?

Thanks.
