Here's my results under Xbench :

(GA-EP45-DS3L / E8400@4.05GHZ / 4GB RAM PC6400@890MHZ / SpinpointF1 1TB )

The OC have stability have been tested several hours with OCCT.

The cooling function is mainly assured by huge Coolermaster cpu fan + Power Supply system

(approx.48°C right now for CPU/38°C inside tower)

The power supply providing great stability is a simple CoolerMaster 520(600W max, 520W RMS).

Logic Pro runs much faster on this configuration than on my recent genuine MacBookPro+iMac's !

I'm So Happy folks !

Apple should let us buy their OS and make the config we want ...

I have a very similiar setup (see sig) as you. I too plan on overclocking the hell out of the E8400 as soon as my new cooler comes in from Newegg.

I get a score of 223 right now at 3.2 GHZ, mostly because of my 10,000 RPM raptor. Wonder what kind of score I can get at 3.6, 3.8 or 4.0!! I'm very happy with my set-up as well!

Have you thought about upgrading your HD?
