hecker Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 The MD5 file is used to check a file's integrity by comparing the original check-sum with the download file's check-sum. Google MD5 or wikipedia if you want to learn more about it. I can't help you with patching the file. I suggest you read the instructions, which are usually provided at the download site. inc188 Posted November 16, 2008 Author Share Posted November 16, 2008 thanks ok. so here is what i found, a little tutorial for some of the newbies, Go to (Click here) And download MD5 Check 2.1 (this is for Window) Open the Program from the Zip file, Go to Browse and locate your .iso file (ie: iATKOS_4.1i.iso) Wait a few mins and it will show you the MD5 code. Now compare that code to the code inside (md5.rtf) or go to Uphuck's website (Click here) and compare it to that code. if it checks out, then all is well.
